Yes, that does mean I am not in the Infinite Loop campus. That happens to be across the street.

The infamous One Infinite Loop:

Here’s the front office. Notice the Emmys sitting in the back:

None of these images are from anywhere that isn’t publicly accessible, which is very obvious in the last photo. Their security is pretty good, and as I’m not yet an official employee, I have no keys to get anywhere :(

Lack of attention

Gotta love it when people don’t look at the data that’s handed to them, or if they automate the process without really reading. Here’s something I noticed on the Cornell Co-op site the other day (emphasis mine):

Information for Apple Computer, Inc.

Location Cupertino, CA
Contact URL http://www.apple.com
Contact Person Jonathan Rubinstein
Title Senior VP/DO NOT GIVE OUT TO STUDENTS

Right below that is his email address and phone number, with a similar warning :)

Ever read the Economist?

I love how smarmy they are sometimes :)

Intelligent design asks interesting questions about evolution, but since all its answers are usually “God”, scientists have rejected it.

When the Discovery Institute, a promoter of intelligent design, came up with a list of 370 people with science degrees who backed their ideas, the National Centre for Science Education responded with almost 600 scientists called Steve or Stephanie who rejected them.
